Nomination Process for All Awards

A call for nominations is sent to all members approximately mid-February of each year. All nomination materials must be submitted electronically by April 15th. It is the nominator's responsibility to demonstrate in a 1-2 page written statement to the Awards Committee why the person nominated deserves a particular award. The letter of nomination must be accompanied by the nominee's up-to-date vita. Carefully review the criteria for each award to be sure your nomination is submitted for the most appropriate recognition category. The Awards Committee will determine who, if anyone, will receive awards in a given year.

There are many Consortium members who are making very noteworthy contributions to the profession. One of the greatest honors an individual can receive is to be recognized by his/her peers. Your participation in the nomination process is needed and very much appreciated. Please take time to nominate your peers.

  2. NCPERID members should follow the above nomination format. All nominations must be from current Consortium members.
  3. NCPERID members can nominate more than one person per year; however, each nominator can only nominate one person per award category.
  4. Past recipients cannot be nominated for an award that they have previously received. However, past recipients can be nominated for awards in other categories.
  5. The nomination deadline is April 15th of each year. Because of the timelines we must follow, no nominations will be accepted after this date (unless the committee makes a special request for clarification purposes).
